Casey Sustainability Event at Huckletree Co-Working Space In Manchester

The Casey Group

The Casey Group are an environmentally-friendly and sustainability-focused construction company. Founded in 1968 by Peter Casey, the Chairman, the Casey Group has grown to its current position by responding positively to an ever changing marketplace and legislative controls.

Casey describe themselves as:

This event, organised by Casey, commissioned me to be an Event Photographer Manchester on their behalf; to document the event naturally and organically.

Huckletree Co-Working Space Manchester

Huckletree was founded in 2014 with a vision to build workspaces that help the world’s most innovative companies thrive - from rapidly expanding scale-ups to established global businesses. With locations in London, Manchester & Dublin, Huckletree offer businesses office and co-working space to thrive and develop. As an Event Photographer Manchester, this was to be my first project to photograph at Huckletree, in the Northern Quarter. The Event was in Huckletree’s Live Lounge - a brilliant room with fantastic acoustics. The lighting is good too, making life a little easier for this Event Photographer Manchester. The room was full too, with around 65 delegates.

Lancashire Business View Magazine

The MC for the event was Richard Slater from Lancashire Business View Magazine. Richard is brilliant fun to work with; lively articulate and keeps the room interested in all that’s going on. He also gave this Event Photographer Manchester some great reaction shots as he drove the event forward. With a mixture of 1-2-1 interviews, to a panel of four from Casey, and other invited guests, the event was really interesting.

Sustainability In The Construction & Building Industry

The main focus of the event was all about sustainability in the Construction and Building Industry - not top of my reading list as an Event Photographer Manchester, but interesting all the same, to hear the various angles the speakers were coming from in their presentations. With a couple of coffee breaks in the day, I got to mingle with the delegates and get some great shots of them enjoying the day. Client was please too with my work as Event Photographer Manchester.
